Climate Vintage: The beginnin of spring was characterized by higher avarage temperatures than those of the previous years, wich lead to a faster vegetative growth and development of the vine. During the following months, in spite of the hot and dry climate, the vine maintained the phenological accumulated in Spring, due to the water reserve in the soil. The grapes, harvested from the 3rd of September, in respect to the previuos years, appear healthy, with an excellent sugar content and a good level of acidity.

Vinification: On arrival in the cellars the grapes were destemmed and crushed. Maceration followed for 8 days at a maximum temperature of 28 °C. The malolactic fermentation was completed before winter and the wine was transferred to 100 Hl Slavonian oak barrels for a few months and then into stainless steel tanks until bottling in late spring.
