PRODUCTION AREA: Grown in our vineyards near Suelli, towards Pranu Sturru, Costa Bancodi and Perda Campus, in the Selegas area. Altitude: 190 metres above sea level. Average yield: 2 kilos per vine-stock
SOIL COMPOSITION: The soil varies from one plot to the other, not only as to slope - which is however always gentle - but also regarding particle size and composition.
VARIETIES OF GRAPE: Vermentino, with approximately 5 of other varieties with well-defined primary aroma.
CLIMATE: Typically Mediterranean, with mild winters, low rainfall and veryhot, well-ventilated summers.
HARVESTING: Grapes are picked manually during the early morning hours by expert personnel who perform initial rigorous selection.
VINIFICATION: Careful de-stalking and gentle pressing. The must is immediatelycooled to 12 -14° C by natural decantation and then passed on to fermentation at 16 -18° C in such a way that the sugar transformation process lasts approximately 20 days. When fermentation is complete and after decantation, the wine is stocked at low temperature and under inert gas in stainless steel vats, while awaiting bottling.
TASTING NOTE: Colour: yellow with a slight greenish tinge. Bouquet: subtle, intense and delicate with good primary and secondary aromas. Palate: fresh, dry, well-defined with pleasant delicacy and crispness.
