VIGNETI: Le uve del Cabernet Sauvignon e Cabernet Franc provengono dalla zona di "Freising" (a circa 280m s.l.m.), nella parte sud di Rungg presso Termeno. Le uve Merlot provengono direttamente dal territorio di Rungg, che dà il nome a questo vino. In tutta la zona del raccolto i terreni sono di conformazione argillosa, calcare con un sottosuolo ghiaioso.
VINIFICAZIONE: La macerazione è stata fatta a temperatura controllata (28°C) con continui rimontaggi per incrementare la cessione di sostanze dalle bucce. La fermentazione e l'invecchiamento sono avvenuti in barrique francesi e in grandi botti di rovere.
NOTE SENSORIALI: Le uve (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon e Cabernet Franc) raccolte per la creazione di questa cuvée provengono dalle migliori zone di produzione. Il vino si presenta di un colore rosso rubino, brillante, il profumo è molto vinoso, intenso e gradevole. Al palato il vino è sapido, pieno e generoso. È sicuramente un ottimo vino da pasto, particolarmente adatto agli arrosti, alla cacciagione ed ai formaggi piccanti.
