The Pircher distillery is a traditional family business based in Lana, a municipality in the Trentino-South Tyrol region of Italy. The distillery was founded in 1948 by Josef Pircher and is now run by his grandsons Christian and Hannes Pircher. The company specialises in the production of high-quality brandies and liqueurs regional fruits. Particular importance is attached to the selection of raw materials as well as careful processing and storage. The Pircher distillery only uses fruit fruit farmers in the region and works closely with them. A special highlight are the noble fruit brandies, which are stored in oak barrels, giving them an intense aroma and a pleasant woody note. In addition, the distillery also produces fine grappas, whiskies and other spirits. In addition to the high quality of its products, the Pircher distillery also attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection. For example, biological waste water treatment is used and the distillery's own orchard is managed ecologically. Over the years, the Pircher distillery has earned an excellent reputation and received numerous awards, including several gold medals at international spirits competitions. The company exports its products worldwide and is now one of the leading distilleries in South Tyrol.

Psenner offers a wide range of superb quality brandies, all of which capture the aromas and flavours of fruit grown in South Tyrol. The mixture of Mediterranean and Alpine climate influences, the alternation of warm, sunny days and cool nights all results in sweet, fragrant fruit that ripens slowly with concentrated aromatic, firm pulp.
The Blackthorn (or sloe) ripens in late September and is harvested after the first frost, as this makes the taste of the fruit harmonious. The sloe spirit meets the nose with intense almond marzipan notes, and slight hints of dry hay and plum. To the palate it is full-bodied with marzipan, fruity and long lasting.
Quince are becoming increasingly rare, but every year we seek out this special fruit anew and only the very best. The extremely limited quince apple schnapps is distilled with the utmost care to preserve its unique flavour and incredibly fruity aroma.
