Averna is an excellent liqueur with full body and smooth taste, extremely pleasant for every moment of the day. You can drink it or taste it straight, with ice or frozen. It is produced using an ancient recipe made of herbs, which has been passed down one generation to another since 1868.
Each of the most delicate phases of the production of the bitter, all of which take place in the herbalist's laboratory, are stringently checked in order to guarantee the authenticity of the ingredients and the high quality of the product. This is why Averna is one of the most famous bitters appreciated worldwide.
In 1815, Ausano Ramazzotti, a herbal doctor, created in his shop in Milan, a tonic liqueur made herbs and spices including gentian root, rhubard, cinnamon and the peel Sicilian oranges. Today, Ramazzotti is still produced with the same ingredients and the same technique used by its inventor over 180 years ago. Made with 33 medicinal herbs and plant roots which give it a characteristic bouqurt, Ramazzotti is a sweet and strong liqueur, with an unmistakable orange flavour. It is not only a digestive but also a tonic and refreshing drink. In fact Ramazzotti today is no longer just an after-dinner drink but it is also a drunk as an aperitif.
A very special wine. Once tasted, never forgotten - so ple - asing is its aromatic richness and strength. Fine spices, cloves and the gentle fragrance of roses characterise and emphasise the traits and the overall elegance of this im - pressive wine. It is here, on the hills between Appiano and Termeno, that the Gewürztraminer grape originated. The wine is an ideal accompaniment to fish dishes, especially crustaceans, lobster and crab, or to foie gras and other pâtès. Yet it is also a fine wine for enjoying on its own.
