The Luciano Reina Srl company is located in the fertile territory of Niscemi (Capital of artichoke) in south-eastern Sicily and has been operating in the canning sector since 2015.
We use for our production, very fresh vegetables at km 0 processed within 24 hours the harvest, therefore the production of our preserves follows the seasonality of the fresh product. The company stands as a trait d'between Innovation and Tradition, proposing to the market preserves typical of the high Sicilian gastronomic culture revisited in a modern key. Our brand is a guarantee of genuineness: the raw material, carefully selected, is grown in house and processed respecting the seasonality of the product through innovative procedures, respecting the environment.
The products are 100% natural, in fact there are no preservatives or colorants, raw and vegan.
The Trenker Bakery's Schüttelbrot is rightfully called "handmade bread", as required by the "Südtirol" quality trademark. In fact, when he rolls out the dough for this traditional natural spice and rye bread, the baker places the dough on a round board: he shakes it until he obtains a thin disk, which is baked in the oven until it takes on the shape of a low, crisp focaccia.

Lightly-baked, crunchy rye bread in small format. As a rule, our South Tyrolean Mini-Schüttelbrot is eaten between meals (during a so-called 'Jause' or 'Brotzeit') or rather during a light afternoon meal (the South Tyrolean 'Marende'). It makes of course a perfect accompaniment to wine and beer.
