In this manner, the bread maintains its natural freshness and is ready for export to nearby countries.
So you can just pop the rustic "Pusteria Valley Bauernbreatl", for example or the original 'Vinschgauer" into the oven and toast for a few minutes when you take them home, to make Trenker's bread fresh and crisp; ideal for a country snack with cheese, ham or "speck", the Tyrolean smoked ham.
