Psenner offers a wide range of superb quality brandies, all of which capture the aromas and flavours of fruit grown in South Tyrol. The mixture of Mediterranean and Alpine climate influences, the alternation of warm, sunny days and cool nights all results in sweet, fragrant fruit that ripens slowly with concentrated aromatic, firm pulp.
The strength and warmth of grappa combined with the delicate flavour of fruit yields a brandy embodying the scents of the woods and mountains, all preserved by the skill of the master distiller using traditional South Tyrolean methods.
Nettles usually grow right next to rivers or on the edge of forests and is well known for its digestive characteristics. Nettles are harvested in spring and left to infuse cold in fresh grappa for about 45 days. Afterwards the liqueur is bottled with a fresh branch. This liqueur featured a herbaceous, slightly pungent taste.
These Grappas are distilled grape skins deriving fully ripe and absolutely healthy grapes grown in the Neustift estate, grape skins which yield single grape brandies characterised by clean, pure, clear-cut varietal character.
