Fine, well-balanced Cuvée white Burgundian, Ruländer and Sauvignon. The result is a fruit-stressed, thoroughbred white wine which brings his origin the slopes of the Meraner wine-growing area clearly to expression. Cuvée wais shows discreet aromatic marks, smells of sage, nectarines and fresh apple. In the drink he fills the palate nicely, owns fine fruit glaze and in the finale discreetly mineral marks. Bright, vivid pale yellow in colour with green reflexes. On the nose the aromas are clear-cut, reminiscent of freshly-picked apples, lemon grass, with a light hint of vanilla. After brief contact with oxygen in the glass the wine develops intense floral and nutty aromas. On the palate it is vivacious, fresh with crisp, tingling acidity. The interplay between accentuated fruit and flowery aromas follows through and strongly characterises the wine. Harmonious and well-structured in flavour, minerally with excellent length.
Spontaneous fermentation on the skins and ageing on the skins for 4 months in a clay amphora, malolactic fermentation and ageing for 16 months on the fine lees in used oak barrels.

Our „Kukuck“ is a very characterful wine that stands out many organic onces with its peculiarity and high quality. As mineral, fruity, fresh and persistent, it inspires almost everyone and will be long remembered on the palate and in the mind. It is a cuvée of 30% Solaris and 70% Muscaris, both fungus-resistant grape varieties that have a good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew and thus enable us to work completely naturally and without chemical pesticides phytosanitary products.
