Grapes: 100 % Trebbiano
Characterisation: Attractive greenish highlights complement a luminous straw-yellow colour. The wine offers a superbe, richly-faceted nose, with an intense, lively fruitiness offering scents of ripe grape and peach, plus abundant tropical fruit banana, citron and grapefruit. That crisp liveliness marks the palate too, with its pleasurable tartness, a dryness softened around the edges, and the lightest hint vanilla hovering throughout.

The "Traminer" was known in German speaking areas as far back as the 13th century. Today it ranges amongst the most popular South Tyrolean wines. As the name itself implies, the Gewürztraminer has its roots in the small village of Tramin. Steep slopes - selected by the chief winemaker himself - yield a wine, which seduces with intense fruitiness, a full body and zesty richness.
The Sextner farm salami Villgrater is produced of pure pork, it is an aromatic house salami with light garlic mark, air-dried after Italian kind.
This particular wine is very rich and concentrated, full, deep ruby in colour with intense, almost aggressive herbaceous aromas which evolve and become warm and generous with maturity. They remain intense even after the wine has been in the glass for a considerable time. On the palate it is rich and dry, herbaceous, earthy and long due to its fi rm, tannic structure, characteristics which will enable this wine to mature magnifi cently in bottle for at least a year or two, evolving, mellowing and developing complexity.
