Teroldego Rotaliano Riserva DOC - 2010 - Cant. Rotaliana Mezzolombardo
To deserve a "Reserve" label, the grapes selected to produce this wine must ensure a minimum natural alcohol content at least one degree higher than classic Teroldego Rotaliano. But that's not all. Before being bottled and put on the market, the wine must spend a mandatory ageing period of at least two years in our cellar, partly maturing in large oak barrels and partly in small oak casks called "barriques". This is what we mean by traditional style Teroldego; the wine is aged in wooden barrels, which nonetheless do not absolutely affect the wine's natural taste or fruit characteristics.
