Sassicaia has an intense, concentrated and deep ruby color. The elegant aroma is complex with notes of red fruits. The flavour is powerful, concentrated and has great depth with sweet and balanced tannins. In the mouth it is rich and dense, yet harmonious and elegant. The wine has a decisively long finish with significant organoleptic depth and a polyphenolic structure which ensures this wine's extraordinary longevity.
It flows with the essence of sweet perfumed fruit. Red cherries, raspberries, flowers and spices are intermingled with suggestions of tobacco, licorice and earthiness that linger in the background. The wine reveals incredible length, and sweet, silky tannins that caress the palate all the way through to the close.
Produced with Sangiovese grapes the estate's most suitable vineyard, is a Morellino di Scansano "Cru". Powerful and also warm and enveloping, it gives new astonishing territorial sensations to this noble variety.

Dark chocolate and top soil flavors on the nose, with a hint of mint and chocolate. Tis has that rustic quality you can only find in Italy, which is intriguing. Comes across even better on the palate than it did on the nose, with great structure and extremely drying. Beautiful explosion of plum and red flowers.
Produced with Sangiovese and a small amount of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Merlot, it is characterized by a balance of elegance and complexity, which make this wine a magnificent example of the "terroir".
