Deion: The Merlot and Cabernet France red wine cuvée is a classic Bordeaux cuvée: Notes of berries and a lasting finish. Elegant and harmonious, it was christened for a famed rose of the same name. Grape varierty: Merlot and Cabernet Franc. DOC South Tyrol. Production area: The naming of our red wine was inspired by a well-known rose. In 2018 we planted the vines for our red wine Baccara in the sunny south-east location of Wartegg in Marling. The grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc are grown here on medium-heavy, slightly clayey and mineral-rich slate soil. The Wartegg vineyard site, with a slope inclination of approx. 35%, gets a lot of morning sun due to its south-east orientation, thus warming up especially in the first half of the day and then cooling down again towards evening. The cool nights preserve the fresh fruit and the pleasant acidity in the grapes. Vinification: Our red wine undergoes a maceration in the mash tank for about 20 days.Afterwards the young wine is used for the biological acid reduction and the maturation into the barrique for 12 months. After a further 6 months in steel tanks the wine is lightly filtered and bottled. After a total of two years our red wine with the Riserva status on sale. Matching: Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C. Ageing potential: more than 10 years. Bottle to: 750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. Allergens: contains sulphites.

A grape with small berries that has been cultivated in South Tyrol for decades, and which prevails in an aristocratic red wine. With its strong flowery bouquet, velvety finish and fine tannic quality, this wine is perfectly suitable as an accompaniment to meat dishes.

The Roman settler and winegrower Cornelius settled in the Colterenzio area around 15 BC, and founded his Cornelianum wine estate, form which the name Cornaiano developed. He laid the foundations for our present-day wine culture. Cornelius is an elegant Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
This Edizione Rossa is a red wine cuvèe which is unequalled because of its selection the best barriques after about two year storage and then a further year of maturity in barriques. It is a creation which deliberately breaks the ranks. Its complexity in aroma and palette, and in particular its strength and versatility, make this Amistar Edizione especially interesting for discerning moments.
The flagship of the Marinushof is the Pinot Noir stored in the small oaken barrel. With strict selection in the vineyard this red wine becomes more intensive, more spicy, more complex. The oaken barrels are partly new, partly used, because the Pinot's fruit must have priority. With the strong profit limitation in the vineyard the wine wins in depth and strength. A Pinot who makes us a lot of joy and can be stored long.
