Luminous ruby-red colour; intensive, fruity aroma with fresh odour marks of violet, forest fruits and sour cherry; round, well-balanced taste. Medium strong body; long persistent aftertaste with soft tannic acid and a fine mark of bitter almond.
Grapes: Vernatsch min. 85%, Lagrein and Pinot Noir
Recommended dishes: to hors-d'oeuvres, bacon, cold dishes, pasta dishes, grilled or roasted white meat, but also to seafood and fish dishes. Yield: 80 hl / ha.

The Kalterersee Auslese is a light-bodied wine, whose color is light ruby to deep ruby red. It is pleasant and fruity on the palate, often with a touch of bitter almonds.
Glowing ruby red. Pleasant and fruit bouquet with hints of almond. Glides over the palate, smooth and harmonious. Aftertaste low in tannins. Recommended for light meals and as a pleasant and agreeable drinking wine.
The Mezet bacon disposes of a little bit more white bacon interest and is milder therefore and more delicately in the taste.
The special herbal mixture after old traditional farm preion and smoking with selected, Sarntaler coniferous wood (mountain pine pine and juniper) give the "Original Grammhof Speck" the unique and unmistakeable taste.
The belly bacon is suited very well as an ingredient of the known South Tyrolean bacon dumplings.
