Selected grapes make this a special Gewürztraminer Wine: golden yellow in color, aromatic with typical roses and geraniums notes in the odor, he impresses with its elegant, fruity spiciness and freshness in the taste. Recommendation: As an apertif. Suits spicy dishes, to fried fish, particulary crabs and lobster.
It goes without saying that Gewürztraminer is the most typical of South Tyrolean white wines. It is here that the wine originated, getting its name the lower vallery wine village of Termeno. This wine is characterised by an intense yellow colour and the unmistakable aroma of roses and mixed spices just like pepper, nutmeg and cloves. It is equally as convincing on the palate where it lingers, leaving behind intense, unforgettable impressions. This white wine is extremely well suited to be served as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to strong-flavored, spicy dishes made fish, lobst and liver pâté. Served chilled, it can be drunk young, yet also ages well.
Peonies with dewdrops, acacia honey, caramelized orange peel, mango, lavender.
The Kolbenhof Gewürztraminer is characterised by sumptuous fruit. Deep golden yellow in colour with green reflexes, on the nose it is reminiscent of ripe apricot and peach intermingled with exotic fruits such as lychee, mango and passion fruit. The fruit characteristics follow through on the palate; full-bodied, luscious but dry, the opulence cut by vibrant, firm acidity finishing elegant, dry and aromatic.
Delicate green to light yellow in color, this wine is a pleasure to drink with its awesome intensity and broad spectrum of aromas: spicy, floral notes of jasmine and sage lend it a spectacular degree of finesse. Delicately structured with nice acidity, it has a racy, uncomplicated finish.
