Dolomytos - 2014 - Winery Dolomytos - Panta Rei
pale straw yellow with slight greenish reflections; intensive bouquet of mango and blooming elder; sweetness and refreshing at the same time. Be careful - a dangerous bomb! recommendable to foie gras and to various kinds of blue cheese; excellent to various kinds of sweet dishes
Color: brilliant straw yellow. Smell: This Sauvignon is enticingly exotic in the glass, with multilayered fruit of mango, papaya, lime and red grapefruit, and herbal aromas reminiscent of lemon grass, lemon balm, mint and green tea. It also reveals mineral notes of flint combined with a hint of elderberry syrup. Taste: On the palate, the wine offers a fascinating interplay of juicy fruit aromas and delicate minerality creating a harmonious opulence with a long and impressive finish.
A clean, concentrated floral nose reminiscent of elder and acacia flower with ah hint of sage, leads to a fresh, distinctive palate with nicely rounded fruit, light oak spice and a crisp finish. Enjoy it with a snack of fresh goats' cheese and smoked salmon pâté with crusty bread, or as a partner for lobster tail salad, full-flavoured fish dishes, scallops stir-fried with ginger, or goats' cheese soufflé.
Dark yellow color, intensive aromas of Muscat grape, medium body, fine dry taste
