Character: Höfl unterm Stein in Söll near Tramin, at 480-550 m above sea level, 30 year old traditional pergola trellises next to more than 10 year old cane-pruned, wire-trained vines; heavy, loamy, chalky gravel with extremely low yields of 30 hl/ha. Goldenyellow in colour, aromas of roses and linden blossom, cinnamon invite the drinker to try more of this charming wine. Smooth and harmonious on the palate, the wine seduces with an aromatic, spicy finish.

A saturated bordeaux red, a delicate aroma of berries, chocolate and tabac. Elegant tannins underscore the wine's complexity; a smooth finish with a touch of warmth accompanies its fiery finale.
The Kolbenhof Gewürztraminer is characterised by sumptuous fruit. Deep golden yellow in colour with green reflexes, on the nose it is reminiscent of ripe apricot and peach intermingled with exotic fruits such as lychee, mango and passion fruit. The fruit characteristics follow through on the palate; full-bodied, luscious but dry, the opulence cut by vibrant, firm acidity finishing elegant, dry and aromatic.
Light yellow in colour with gold highlights, with a delicate bouquet of exotic fruit, such as lychee, and roses. Forceful, yet well balanced, with a long finish.
The colour ranges straw to golden yellow. The Gewürztraminer is an aromatic and full-bodied white wine with a light to distinctive fragrance and pleasantly dry, lightly spicy aromas. In addition to spicy overtones, there are also hints of cloves, roses and lychees that give it a distinctive bouquet. The Gewürztraminer is one of South Tyrol's most sought-after wines.
