Gewürztraminer Venosta Valley - 2016 - Stachlburg Winery
Medium garnet colour with ruby hints. Rich, quite pronounced, spicy aroma with a chocolate character, floral impressions (violets), red fruit and prunes. Soft, smooth fruit, full bodied. Masculine style. Firm, dry and somewhat earthy finish.
Of finely spicy beef and pork bottled in natural bowel, smoked and matured for some days, this proves the probably best known raw sausage speciality in the Alps, the so-called Kaminwurze. The choice of the best raw materials and the processing after old tradition guarantees a maximum in quality.
Bright, light-coloured golden yellow. Discreet mature hints on the nose, aroma of candied pineapple, passion fruit and a little baked apple. Well-balanced palate, very mellow, subtle hints of rose petals and long, finale mineral tones.
A brilliant golden yellow, the rich bouquet of exotic fruits and honey-sweet blossoms, rich in extract, creamy mouthfeel, and a seductive interplay of sweet and sour characterize this outstanding wine.
South Tyrol's finest autochthonous red grape variety, grown in a superb site; an enormously impressive wine!
