Elegant and stylish, matured in traditional oak casks
Grape varieties: Merlot
Colour: Deep ruby
Nose: Concentrated, fresh and spicy with elegant fruit aromas reminiscent of woodland berry fruits, minty with hints of dark chocolate combined with light oak
Flavour: Full bodied and supple cut by vibrant acidity; endowed with firm tannins and spice
Notes: A full-bodied, rich and eminently drinkable Merlot
Winemaking and maturation: In traditional, large oak casks
Analitical data: Alcohol: 10.50% vol, Total acidity: 5.3 g/l, Residual sugar: -
Serve Goes well with: Cool, 16°-18°C A broad range of meat dishes such as steaks or roasts, grilled or fried red meats and mature cheeses
Colour: intensive, dark garnet red. Aroma: complex and multi-layered, ripe berry aromas with cherries and barberries, tangy notes of tobacco and leather, elements of liquorice and eucalyptus, forest soils, dense and full. Taste: convincing structure, finesse and character, soft and velvety nature combined with concentration and extract, finely integrated acidic base, pronounced tannins, fresh and invitingly drinkable, persistent quality - truly one of the most authentic and best interpretations of the native South Tyrolean Lagrein grape
Full, bright ruby in colour, this is an extremely typical Lagrein, very easily recognisable. It is immediately impressive due to the excellent equilibrium between intensity and complexity, between spice and small woodland berry fruits and violets.
Complex and refined with hints of violets, cinnamon and red berry fruits.
