An intensive white wine - not just in colour, but in fragrance and taste. The secret of this white wine lies in the special features of the area in which it is cultivated: Lahn in Appiano. These vineyards only produce a small yield, yet what they produce is typified by sustained character and quality. Its delicious and strong aromas, reminiscent of elderberry and honey, leave behind an abundance of lingering sensations on the palate. This wine is made carefully selected Gewürztraminer grapes, which comes the area of St. Pauls called St. Justina. It has a delicate, aromatic and warm-spicy flavour which reminiscent of cinnamon, nutmeg, and rose petals. It is rich and round on the palate and is one of South Tyrol's best known wines.
Our Gewürztraminer is counted among the most popular wines in South Tyrol. It has a straw-yellow to golden hue, is an aromatic and full-bodied white wine with a light to somewhat stronger nose and pleasantly dry, lightly spicy character. In addition to spice, nuances of rose and lychee add to the bouquet.
