Deion: Pinot Blanc Vom Muschelkalk is an alpine wine, which impressively reflects the potential of this variety. Grape varierty: 100% Alto Adige Pinot Blanc.
Production area: Pinot Bianco its own vineyard Gfillberg at 600 s.l.m. grows on pergolas over 60 years old. An old vineyard that was purchased in 2019 in Appiano Monte. The soil is composed of clayey sediments and calcareous conglomerates of alluvial origin (= Muschelkalk). In 2016 the first vintage of this Pinot Bianco was vinified, which is characterized by a great flavor, freshness and elegance. Vinification: Fermentation with natural yeasts in wooden barrels, aging on the lees in tonneaux barrels (500 l). After a year and a half the wine is bottled with light filtration. The first vintage in the bottle was 2019.

Ageing potential: 5 - 10 years.
