Straw-yellow in colour, the Pinot Grigio (sometimes called Ruländer) has a pleasantly fruity bouquet slightly reminiscent of bananas, pears and linden flowers. Typically it has a high extract content and a pleasant acidity. "Egg Leiten" is a selected vineyard in a very steep location with a loamy soil. It lies at about 300-380 metres above sea level. It drinks well as an aperitif, with light cold and warm starters, with fish and white meat dishes.
Enjoy it lightly chilled, about 11-13°C.
