VARIETY: 100 % PINOT NERO
PRODUCTION: Selected vineyards with south-east exposure located in the midhill slpoes of Montagna (400 m) and Gleno, one of the most promising areas for Alto Adige Pinot Noir production.
VINEYARDS: 2 main growing systems: Pergola and Guyot; with 2016 - 7000 vines/ha. The age of the vines varies 3-8 years (on the modern Guyot system) to 50 years (on the traditional Pergola)
SOIL PROPERTIES: Slopes with particular conglomerate soils of loam, chalk and porphyr.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are destemmed immediately and all single vineyards are fermented at constant temperatures between 26-28° C for about 10 days in stainless steel tanks. During fermentation the must is kept in contact with the skins through circulation pumping. In this way, we achieve ideal results with the coloring the skins and emphasize the fruitiness of the wine. After two gentle rackings, 2/3 of this Pinot Nero is aged over 18 months in French oak barriques.
TASTING NOTES: Powerful ruby red colour. Fine characteristic Pinot bouquet with a clearly fruity character and a trace of spicey and smokey aromas. This wine is powerful and expressive on the palate with a pleasant tannic background. A noble wine for moderately complicated dishes.
SERVING TEMP.: 16°-18 °C

The brilliant straw-yellow color is tinged with light green; the aromas vary quince to pears to toasted almonds. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and racy, with a round and harmonious finish, thanks to aging in barriques.
Our Weissburgunder, or Pinot blanc, is a refreshingly fruity white wine, green- to light yellow, with a delicate apple aroma and dry full-bodied structure. Notes of apples, nuts, green branches, and creamy butter carry through on the palate.
Harmonious, sapid and aromatic fragrance. It is excellent as an aperitif, goes well with starters and particularly with delicately flavoured dishes, most of all fish based ones.
