Alto Adige Pinot Nero Sanct Valentin 2009 It is the endeavour and the inner desire of every winemaker to produce a special wine the Pinot Nero grape, a wine that is impressive because of both broadness and elegance. Targeted selection in our vineyards over the course of years have now produced convincing results. The Pinot Nero of the St. Valentin line has been especially successful. A radiant garnet red, it impresses with its tempting aromas: small berries with crisp cherries, fresh violets, a breath of marzipan. This Pinot Nero opens up with a multifaceted lasting quality. A fine wine for lamb dishes, beef, wild fowl, and cheese, it has an excellent potential for aging.

Ruby red with a deep garnet sheen, this wine has a delicate bouquet of blackberries, raspberries and cherries with a hint of vanilla. It is smooth and full-bodied, showing balance and elegance on the palate, and has both youthful force and pedigree.
This wine once again proves the great potential of the Vernatsch variety. Bright ruby-red in color, it shows fine fruit aromas as well as vinous flavors of marzipan and light bitter almond. With light tannins and pleasant freshness, this well-balanced wine is uncomplicated and easy-drinking.
