Brilliant bright yellow colour with a green shimmer. Pronounced, quite rich though fresh and crisp aroma with touches of tropical fruits, herbs and spices. Very clean, pristine varietal flavour, full bodied. Fine fruit with a nice complexity and a long, deliciously fresh finish.
Color: deep impenetrable ruby with violet reflections Smell: This Lagrein selection is a multifaceted wine. It reveals aromas reminiscent of morello cherry and bilberry, with notes of licorice, coffee beans, vanilla, clove and black tea, which makes it spicy and fruity at the same time. Taste: The wine is harmonious on the palate with very compact and concentrated, multilayered flavors combining juicy fruit with spicy, peppery elements and a slightly sweet note of dark chocolate rounded off with silky tannins.
Colour: garnet-red with violet hues; Aroma: intense aroma of bitter chocolate and cherries; Taste: silky with soft nuances of French oak adding depth and complexity, good acidity, full-bodied and very persistent. Good aging potential.
Very deep, intense cherry-red colour. Pronounced, complex aroma, fruity (cherry, blackcurrant) and spicy, with floral notes (tobacco, violets, mint) combined with elegant oak spice. Quite powerful and rich on the palate, with an intense, strong taste and a long lasting, fresh and fruity aftertaste. The tannins are rather strong though well balanced with the sweetness of the wine's fruit structure.
South Tyrol's finest autochthonous red grape variety, grown in a superb site; an enormously impressive wine!
