Two of South Tyrol's most prestigious wines St. Magdalener and Lagrein are grown around Bolzano and in the surrounding area. Today we can proudly assert that the grapes which go into the two prestigious wines most closely associated with Bolzano are grown in very finest sites and only the highest quality fruit is delivered to our winery.

Steiner is a specialist for typical products our mountain areas. Particularly for the tasty kitchen is suited the belly bacon, well passed through with fat, smoked with beechwood, air-dried about several weeks matured.

This high-quality product of the butchery Villgrater - Sexten is produced only of selected pork clubs which are mildly smoked, spicy, drily salted and stored to old Traditon for at least 6 months.
BERNARDI bacon - the time to the maturity is esteemed to us
The classical bacon is produced of the best piece of the leg. Refined with spices, mountain herbs and salt, the bacon is pickled for 20 days. After a cold smoke phase with beechwood filings the bacon sides are matured for a total of 5 months in our pure mountain air at controlled temperature.
