Our Sauvignon 800, a "northern" type with a strong aroma, reminds of elderflowers, gooseberries and lychee. Its racy acidity and powerful structure with their high minerality evoke a long-lasting flavour experience. It is not opulence and broadness, but right this characteristic that makes up the power of Sauvignon 800 - along with its elegance.
The vines are 6 to 17 years old. Sauvignon 800 is kept exclusively in steel tanks and bottled in June. The wine reaches its peak one year after bottling and stays on this high level for about 5 years.

The late harvest and the high ripeness of the grapes provokes a powerful flavour of dark berries (elderberry, blackberry) and chocolate.
