VINIFICATION: Destemming of late-harvested, but still perfectly sound grapes; 8-hour cold maceration, after which the grapes were pressed and underwent natural clarification; fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16°C; five-month ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel.
VINEYARD: South- and east-sloping vineyards at an altitude of 300 - 450 meters above sea level. Loamy, chalky gravel, heat-retaining and well-drained soils.
TASTING NOTES: - light straw yellow - vibrant freshness of elderberry and gooseberry, hints of exotic fruits - clear and juicy palate of fruit, then mineral and crisp, the lingering is a dream of a fruit orchard
RECOMMENDATION: An excellent accompaniment to asparagus, grilled vegetables, fish and goat's cheese. Sauvignon also makes a very good aperitif.

Color: brilliant pale yellow with green nuances. Smell: Green apple and white peach combine with fine nuances of lemon balm and mint to create the typical aroma of the classic Terlano. Taste: Peach is very strong on the palate, too, lending the Terlano its lively but at the same time very mellow character. Rooting in deep gravel soils, it features distinctive saltiness and an aromatic body with notes of elderflower, grapefruit and citrus fruits. Its fresh and smooth finish makes the Sauvignon Gennen an enjoyable aperitif wine and a perfect match for vegetable dishes and fish.
It has the same properties as the mountain pine oil. However, it is more refreshing in its scent. It has expectorant and anti-inflammatory effects.
