Production Area: Müller Thurgau's vines are grown on traditional pergolas and with the guyot method, at altitudes between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. The clayish and porphyric lands are south and south-west facing.
The wine-making method: After a brief steeping to encourage the aromatic extraction, the crushed grapes are delicately pressed. After this, the must is fermented at controlled temperature for an average of a week. Before being bottled, the wine rests for about five months in steel vats, to then spend a brief time in bottles.
Deion of the wine: Müller Thurgau wine is a lively straw-yellow colour, with a fragrance that recalls notes of nutmeg, fresh fruit, peaches and flowers (yellow primroses), ending on a very pleasant, elegant, full-bodied taste. With its convincing simplicity and fresh acidity the wine is already captivating while still young.
Pairings: This wine is an aperitif or simply paired with light Mediterranean cuisine entrées, seafood salads and fresh goat cheeses.
