Deion: This Pinot Grigio pours a straw yellow color with green reflexes. It has a tempting bouquet of fresh fruits, ripe Williams pears, herbs – including mint and melissa –, and tea and is spicy and slightly buttery and nutty. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured with a long and slightly bitter finish. Grape variety: Pinot Grigio - South Tyrol DOC. Production area: The grapes for this expressive white wine mature at an altitude of 260 - 500 m in the vineyards of Bolzano and Appiano, where they grow mainly on chalk gravel and alluvial soils. Vinification: After temperature-controlled fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at 19°C for one week, the wine is aged in stainless steel. The fine, elegant aromas are reminiscent of honey produced blossom and tropical fruits. Pleasant vanilla fragrances and a light, buttery taste are noted in the palate.
