Deep, rich yellow tinged with green through to straw yellow. lightly spicy with a discreet aroma reminiscent of lime tree blossom, pear and banana. It is a rich, assertive wine. excellent aperitif wine and goes well with lightly flavoured first courses, fish and onion soup.
Bright straw yellow. Delicate hints of nutmeg, cedar wood and grapefruit on the nose; crisp, tangy, fruity and succulent on the palate with great length.
On the steep southern slope at the foot of Ritten, with deep moraine soils consisting of sandy loam and the topsoil of the Bozner Porphyrplatte, fruity mineral wines thrive. This characteristic is typical for the lower Eissacktal to which the cultivation area also belongs.
