The Lageder Alois Winery is a renowned winery in Margreid, a small community in the South Tyrolean lowlands in Italy. The winery was founded in 1823 and has been run by the Lageder family for seven generations. The Lageder Alois winery is known for its high-quality wines, which are characterised by their elegance, finesse and balance. The vineyards of the winery are located on the hills around Margreid and benefit the climatic conditions of the region, which are characterised by mild temperatures, plenty of sunshine and an optimal altitude. The Lageder Alois Winery relies on a sustainable and biodynamic cultivation method that aims to preserve and promote natural resources and protect the environment. For example, the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides is avoided and instead natural methods such as the use of plant extracts and compost are used. The winery produces a variety of wines, including well-known varieties such as Lagrein, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. Each wine has its own personality and character and reflects the terroir of the region. In addition to winegrowing, the Lageder Alois Winery is also committed to promoting art and culture in the region. For example, concerts and exhibitions are regularly held at the winery, attracting visitors all over the world. All in all, the Lageder Alois Winery stands for tradition, quality and innovation and is one of the most important wineries in South Tyrol.
