Grape variety: 100% Riesling. Production area: Novacella in Valle Isarco at 700m a.s.l. Quite warm microclimate with big variations between day and night temperatures. Sandy and loamy soil. Yield: 60 hl per hectare. Vinification: slow fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, maturity on the lees in acacia barrels for 6 month. Deion: white wine with brilliant yellow colour with greenish shimmer. Elegant structure characterized by fine fruitiness with scens of peach and pear. Wellbalanced level of acidity and fine mineral aftertaste. Matching: starters, seafood, shrimps, fish dishes, Asian dishes, veal. Serving temperature: 8 - 10°C. Ageing potential: 2 - 5 years. Bottle to: 0,75 Liter. Producer: Villscheiderhof - Florian Hilpold Villscheiderhof, situated on a hill near Brixen/Bressanone, is known as a "Buschenschank" as well as for its outstanding wines. After taking over the farm in 2018, farmer Florian Hilpold cultivates the establishment at 700 metres above sea level together with his wife, his parents and their two children. In a short time, Villscheiderhof with its livestock was transformed into a fruit-growing and wine-growing estate. The steep vineyards facing south and east are stony, lime-deficient, meagre and water-permeable. This forms ideal conditions for our three grape varieties Sylvaner, Kerner and Gewürztraminer, typical of Eisacktal/Val d'Isarco. These are fresh, fruity and elegant white wines with an excellent sugar / acidity balance. The grape harvest has been pressed in our own wine cellars since 2007. The wine is available in our own wine tavern at the estate, but also commercially as well as at fine restaurants.

The rich full body with a good balance between ripe fruit and tannins emphasizes the long harmonious finish

Bright straw yellow. Fine delicate aroma of blooming elder, quince and yellow gooseberry. Multi-layered on the palate with vivacious acidity. A wine with a smooth elegant body and long lasting aftertaste. This Sauvignon 'Stern' goes very well with seafood und various variations of vegetable rice.
An unmistakably intensive, aromatic bouquet with aromas of fresh roses, cloves and lychee is the distinctive mark of this golden yellow Gewürztraminer. Grown in the Gewürztraminer's natural and traditional habitat, Tramin, it embodies the opulence and strength of a smooth and full-bodied wine, crowned with a long finish. A wonderful choice as an aperitif wine and companion to flavorsome dishes, fish, lobster and liver pâté.
