The company was founded in 1946 by Gottfried Roner and is now run in the third generation by the sisters Karin and Gudrun Roner. The distillery specialises in the production of fine spirits and liqueurs high-quality, regional ingredients. The Roner distillery is particularly well known for its fruit brandies, which are made the ripe fruits of the surrounding orchards. These include apples, pears, plums and apricots.
