Glowing ruby red. Pleasant and fruit bouquet with hints of almond. Glides over the palate, smooth and harmonious. Aftertaste low in tannins. Recommended for light meals and as a pleasant and agreeable drinking wine.
This delicate, slender, pale red the Vernatsch variety was grown o old vines in the Menzenhof farmstead at Cornaiano. Its vibrant fruit and delicately bitter aftertaste make the Menzenhof the most typical varietal Vernatsch wine in all South Tyrol.
Light to full ruby. A delicious, uncomplicated, easy drinking, fresh wine, dry but mellow with mild acidity, harmonious with an attractively bitter almond finish An accompaniment to a vast range of dishes, especially South Tyrolean cold platters of speck (cured ham), sausage and cheese. It is also delicious with first courses, cooked or grilled meats, white meats.
Lagrein, aged in oaken barrels, is a strong and elegant wine with an unmistakable bitter berry scent and a likeable flavour of vanilla and violets.
